British MRAPs (Mastiff, Ridgeback, Wolfhound) redone

Datsun, Skoda, Golf, Towing Tractor, Vodnik, Ural, SUV, Dingo, UAZ, V3S redone:

-passThroughs zeroed out, which should make them more resistant to small arms fire and take a bit longer to explode when being shot at
-Dingo armorStructural buffed, global armor lowered slightly
-some whitespace/needless redeclarations removed

T-72 is near impossible to kill with anything other than CUP units. T-90 as well

With RHS or just CUP?

Dude said anything other than CUP units, so I would assume that he/she is trying to use weapons/vehicles from other mods to blow up T-72s.
I can take a look with vanilla stuff, as CUP is supposed to fit in with vanilla content and that means vanilla levels of power/armor. RHS vehicles have never really been compatible with anything outside of itself.

I tried vanilla tanks and RHS tanks. I made a video of 4 RHS M1A2's pummeling a T-72. They wound out running out of ammo

Also had trouble destroying them with the CAS gun runs. I'll reverify and make a quick video if I'm correct

I'll try to do as much testing as possible with different vehicles vs your vehicles. I can make vids if you want. You guys are too busy fixing things to do a ton of testing, and I understand that you can't make this compatible with everything. Unfortunately my videos take forever to upload since I work overseas and our internet provider has a monopoly. $400 a month for 1024 Kb/s. I just use the free internet, but it's slow.

Yeah, see, RHS vehicles and weapons are really only balanced against each other. This is just how RHS is designed, and I don't think we're going to do anything to change that.

I would actually appreciate testing on this sort of thing! I was pretty much the only person doing armor reworking and I didn't get to test everything during the school year.

I can understand that. Just give me some parameters to work within. I can't do any of the inner workings stuff, I don't know how to do that. I could also try and reach out to the RHS team and see if they can maybe buff their tanks. You guys are the only 2 really doing work like this, so there should be some middle ground. I've tried using CUP tanks in some of my missions, but the driving AI is retarded enough in the Vanilla game. So that, combined with tanks that have a tendency to tip over easily, makes me hesitant to use them. But your Bradley optics and FCS are almost true to life, whereas the RHS version still uses optics like an M2A2 ODS on their A3 model. Also, have you used UNSUNG? Somehow they've figured out how to get their tanks to hold perfect formation without smashing into each other. I wouldn't know where to look in the files to find out what they did, but maybe you would

RHS is not meant to work with anything else, so that's not likely to get fixed.
This is to say, RHS weapons and vehicles are underpowered when compared/used against CUP vehicles, because as brekiy said they have a custom damage model instead of vanilla.
Also there seems to be a weird bug that occurs once every while where tanks just get incredibly hard to be damaged, happened to me as well with both the T-72 and T-55.
It seems to be an issue with how the engine handles hitpoints.

I HAVE noticed that weird bug when engaging groups of tanks. The last one is sometimes extremely hard to kill. It actually happened during testing. I had the CUP T-90A vs 4 RHS M1's. The T-90 hit the M1 @ 15 times without damaging hit. It then moved on to another tank and one-shotted it because, you know, ArmA

Ok. So I'll exclude RHS vehicles in my testing altogether, at least for CUP. I'm still gonna reach out to their team. They are prolly already aware that their tanks are much weaker than yours and prolly don't care either. I've made numerous attempts to suggest that they change their optics on their M2A3, but no response
