Hind & Superhind invisible WSO/Gunners bubble from pilot's FP view

Description

As seen from 0:00 to 0:25 you can see that you have open holes behind pilot's instrument panel (except Superhind) and cabin/bubble of gunner is invisible. This is for all Mi-24's, the D, V, P and Superhind versions.

Well, regarding the invisible stuff from pilots view: Complain to Bohemia about this, it's their model, we just moved it to Arma 3.

Since in CUP there are some models which weren't in vanila ArmA games (Super Stallion, Mi-6 Hook) and don't let me even start on upgraded models like Osprey (aircraft folding, retractrable fuel probe, openable doors etc (which to be honest isn't vital necessity after all, ok maybe in exception of doors so you can place a gunner in the rear for example)). After all Hind is a big chopper, doesn't have a lot of visibility and every thing helps when you're landing so you have better feeling how far away from objects or steep terrain helicopters nose or wings are at landing on some not so much spacious areas while flying in first person view - which I do a lot of time. And yeah, I've had troubles with landings in the past in A2 because of nonexisting things on chopper in first person view.

Just think about it, I really don't see why hinds shouldn't be upgraded ... after all that should not take a lot of work. And I don't think BIS gives a cr*p about their old models since they're focused on A3/Apex.

Even Chairborne said it could be addressed/fixed(?). I know there was an another task about that but it seems it was deleted.

Sigh... you are sounding like you think you are entitled to this.

Oh, so you spend a lot of time flying in first person. We spend a lot of time working on stuff that you spend a lot of time using for free, so don't come in here an demand that I spend time on something.

You are free to ask nicely, which raises the likelihood of things getting enhanced. But don't dare to tell me what to do.

I'm sorry if I made you think that I demand that you have to do this, which is not true. I just wanted to present how the model could be better for people who tend to fly a lot time in first person view with TrackIR, and thus raising the quality bar for CUP. It may not raise it a lot, but details are the ones which can contribute a lot in that. But that's only my reflection or let me be more specific, my humble opinion. Again sorry for the misunderstanding.

That's splendid news! Hats off to you! Can I ask how is the situation about bubble in the front, is there any chance (for now) for it to be visible from pilot's first person view?

Can you show exactly which part you mean ?
