Description

  • Verify LODs, one of them is pretty ugly
  • Holes in the bottom of the periscope "screen"
  • Get In/Get Out memory points missing

  • set waterPPInVehicle to 0 to avoid water overlay when in water
  • Add a NAPA texture
  • Animate the other dials on the dashboard
  • Add sling load points
  • Add bounding box for ViV
  • Make turret-less ambulance version
  • Make a version with BTR-60 and Vodnik turret
  • Make AA and AT variants
  • Make Gendarmerie skin for turret-less
  • Make ACR skin for AA variant.

track shadow doesnt match physical track's movement (look at the front of the track)

I guess the shadow LOD is missing the selections... I didn't make that one, I probably should go over it.

Geez, turns out there wasn't a hole in the periscope, but rather the camera point was so low that it clipped through the top armour and showed interior

Water PhysX seems to be an engine issue, it also gets stuck in continuous curve...

PhysX configuration could really use some refactoring.

The major problem is that the vehicle prone to rolling over when it least expected, for instance

  • slightly turning to sides when rolling down hill
  • entering water surface - I suggest disabling amphibious capability because right now it's almost guaranteed loss of a vehicle.

On top of that, there are other minor issues:

  • the suspension doesn't balances back after an abrupt braking, the thing stays titled frontward
  • setting vehicle weight to 8 tons with setWeight command causes it to barely move as if it loses traction with the ground
  • generally doesn't handle turning very well, especially while backing uphill

Unrelated to PhysX — the turret MG can be raised way too high, to almost 85 degrees, clipping through the turret's roof.

Make turret-less ambulance version
This can also be a civilian version - those are freely available in Russia and sometimes used by hunters or those living in northern Russia. They usually come in Russian Green paint (already present in CUP).

vehicles going out of control when entering water is an engine issue, only happens if you're steering when entering the water.
