Could create a new class and hide the old one.
Don't think it so important to make another 20+ classes just for changing marking of suppressor.
Irl the difference mostly in the mounting part of muzzle device, which is often may be changed.
Iirc they inherited from Bizon, and bizon was configured to use 762 muzzle devices for years, so very likely it won't change (as vityaz released more than 1 year ago).

IIRC mesh in View-pilot LOD should be removed for everything that is worn on the head (like headsets piece in vest, helmets, goggles, etc.)

CUP's L115A5 has magazine proxy in model so it's expects that magazines has corresponding 3d model. ACE .338 mags are without 3d models, so they are not displayed in-game.
Try to ask in ACE3 slack or github (see https://github.com/acemod/ACE3).

It's due to animated rear sight position vs in-game ballistics. This, or floating rear sight on 500+ zeroing.
No chances that someone will redo this.

For backward compatibility i propose to not to change cup_optic_cws, but add new class (e.g. cup_optic_cws_nv) with IRL's NV mode only; then replace stringtables with "AWS" and "CWS".

For subsonic rounds, please, use AKS-74UB (unfortunately not in our mod), so nothing we can do right now. If you have proper bits (like rearsight for subsonic ammo) - feel free to donate.

Hmm... i had something similar once with fortifications (after few artillery firemissions), but was using vehicle on fire mod, so thought it some side effect. But maybe fortification objects should be checked too
